Gord-x has some very interesting recording credits to his name. Something's Gotta give was his first forray into original music, completely put together by Gordx. He has several credits on other people's CD's Johnny Lovsin to name one. Although he co-produced the album with john he didn't get credit on the liner notes. He also has some recording credits out of Winnipeg, where he worked on album projects with the "REX BARTLETT BAND","ALL NIGHT AUGUST" and "BILL&THE BILLS" this recording featured Burton Cummings on vocals and was one of the more interesting sessions Gord ever did. Gord has since gone on to produce recordings for various local toronto acts which have been used as demos (some successfully, some not) and independent CD's. Comments: The best thing on this album is the writing. The songs are great, they're different, they're not pidgenholed, and they're from the heart. The title track is really cool in a southern funky way,but the best tune is "I WANT YOU BACK" It speaks volumes about a man's emotions and lost love although "drifting" is pretty cool if you understand what lazybones is all about. {@#$!%$^&*&^$%#@*&^&*%^#@!%$#^+)*&^%$%^#} |
